Lalit K Jha, is an Indian journalist, based out of Washington DC. For nearly a decade and half, he has been reporting on the world’s oldest democracy (the United States) for the world’s largest democracy (India). He is currently Chief US Correspondent of Press Trust of India. He has previously worked with various Indian publications like The Hindu, The Hindustan Times, The Indian Express and NDTV. He has also reported for Pajhwok Afghan News in Afghanistan and The Irrawaddy in Myanmar. He is founder of 5WH, an innovative media market place and New India Abroad, the influential Indian American news outlet from Washington DC.
